HubSpot integration services

Connect HubSpot to the systems your organization already depends on.

Your CRM doesn’t have to replace every platform your organization uses.

Yodelpop helps companies, nonprofits, and associations connect HubSpot with the systems that hold important customer, constituent, member, fundraising, and operational data.

Use one of our ready-to-go HubSpot integrations or work with us to define and build a custom solution.

Your data shouldn’t stop at the edge of HubSpot

Your organization may rely on several systems for good reasons. The problem comes when those systems don’t communicate.

Marketing can’t see important activity. Teams export and import spreadsheets. Records get duplicated. Follow-up depends on someone remembering to move information. Reporting shows only part of the relationship.

A HubSpot integration can help the right information move between systems while allowing each platform to continue doing the job it does best.

Yodelpop helps determine:

  • what information needs to move
  • which system should own it
  • when it should sync
  • whether the sync should be one-way or two-way
  • how records should match
  • which information should create or update HubSpot records
  • what should happen when data is missing or inconsistent
  • how the integration should be tested, documented, and maintained
The goal isn’t to sync everything. It’s to connect the information that makes the whole system work better.

Custom Integration Discovery — $1,299

Sometimes the integration you need doesn’t exist — or an existing integration doesn’t support the data and processes your organization actually needs. Yodelpop can help assess, define, and build custom HubSpot integrations.

Before we quote custom integration development, we begin with a paid discovery engagement. We’ll investigate the systems and use case, define the required data flow and business rules, and determine what needs to be built and validated.

Discovery may include business requirements and intended outcomes, API and technical feasibility, authentication requirements, the objects, records, and fields involved, field and data mapping, system-of-record decisions, sync direction and timing, record matching and update logic, filters and exclusions, exception and error-handling requirements, testing and validation requirements, and implementation considerations and dependencies.

At the end of discovery, we’ll provide the specifications and recommended next step for the integration.

Your $1,299 discovery fee is applied to the project budget if you move forward with Yodelpop. That means we’re able to do the technical thinking required to scope the work responsibly — and you aren’t paying twice for that work if we build the integration.

Start Custom Integration Discovery

Existing integration or custom integration?

You may not need custom development.

Part of good integration strategy is determining whether an existing HubSpot Marketplace app, native integration, middleware solution, or other connector already solves the problem well enough.

If it does, we’ll tell you. If it doesn’t, we’ll help identify what’s missing and whether customization or custom development makes sense.

The objective isn’t to build custom technology for its own sake. It’s to find the most maintainable way to support the process your organization needs.

More than moving fields from A to B

An integration can technically sync data and still create problems.

Good integration design requires decisions about what the information means and what should happen when it reaches the other system.

Data mapping

Which objects and fields correspond between systems? Do the underlying definitions actually mean the same thing?

Record matching

How will the integration identify the same person, company, member, constituent, or other record in both systems?

Sync logic

What causes information to move? Which records qualify? Which changes should update existing records — and which shouldn’t?

System of record

When two systems contain the same information, which one has authority?

Automation

What should HubSpot do once new information arrives? Change segmentation, trigger a workflow, update reporting, or simply be available to staff?

Testing and validation

How will we confirm that records are being created, matched, updated, and excluded as intended before relying on the integration at scale?

Documentation and governance

What does your team need to know about how the integration works, who owns it, and what should be considered before changing the surrounding systems?

These are the questions that turn an API connection into a useful business system.

Integration expertise built from real-world systems

Yodelpop doesn’t approach integrations as isolated development projects.

Our work sits at the intersection of HubSpot implementation, data, audience journeys, automation, and connected systems.

We’ve developed and supported integration products connecting HubSpot with fundraising and membership platforms, and we work with organizations whose important relationships don’t always fit neatly into a standard CRM pipeline.

What does each system do best? What information actually needs to move? And what will your team be able to understand and maintain after the integration is live?

Integrations can be part of a larger HubSpot implementation

Sometimes the integration is the project.

Other times, it’s one piece of a larger HubSpot implementation involving CRM architecture, migration, automation, reporting, governance, and staff adoption.

If your organization is implementing or substantially restructuring HubSpot, we’ll help determine where integration work belongs in the larger roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

Can you connect HubSpot to any platform?

Not necessarily. The other platform needs to provide an appropriate way to access and exchange the required information, usually through an API or another supported integration method. Technical feasibility is one of the things we investigate during Custom Integration Discovery.

Do we have to replace our existing database with HubSpot?

No. Often the right architecture is to keep a specialized system doing what it does well and connect relevant information with HubSpot. Part of integration planning is determining which platform should remain the system of record for different types of data.

Can you customize an integration that already exists?

Potentially. If an existing integration almost meets your needs, we’ll first assess its capabilities and limitations. Depending on the technology involved, the better answer may be configuration, supplemental development, a different integration approach, or a custom solution.

Why do you charge for integration discovery?

Reliable custom integration pricing requires more than knowing the names of the two platforms. We need to understand the APIs, data structures, business rules, sync logic, edge cases, and testing requirements before we can responsibly define the work. The $1,299 discovery engagement allows us to do that technical investigation before providing a project recommendation. If you move forward with Yodelpop for the custom integration, the $1,299 discovery fee is applied to the project budget.

Do you support integrations after they’re launched?

Ongoing support depends on the integration and the support arrangement established for it. For custom work, we’ll identify ongoing maintenance and support considerations as part of the project recommendation rather than assuming every integration requires the same support model.

Connect the systems behind the journey

Whether you’re connecting fundraising data, membership information, customer activity, or another important system, the first question isn’t simply can these two platforms connect?

It’s what needs to happen when they do?

Yodelpop can help you answer that — and build the connection when custom development is the right solution.
