How it works

  1. Foundation onboarding. A fixed scope and fixed price. We move your email program to HubSpot, design your data model, and train your team. You get a written deliverable for every major decision.
  2. Add-ons, if you need them. Integrations, custom objects, and gift pipelines are quoted alongside Foundation, so you see the full cost before you sign.
  3. Implementation, when you're ready. Foundation ends with next-step recommendations. Bigger projects are scoped from those, or from a paid discovery, once we know your systems and data.

HubSpot licenses are purchased separately from HubSpot.

Foundation Plus

  • 1 gift or grant pipeline

  • Email program assessment: lists, send volume, templates, automations, and list health

  • Team training session, recorded
  • Go-Live Checklist for retiring your old email platform

Add-ons

When your project needs more, we quote these with your Foundation so you see the full cost up front:

  • Salesforce or Raiser's Edge sync, designed with your database admin and tested before it goes live
  • Donation sync and campaign attribution, so you can see which emails and campaigns brought in gifts
  • Custom objects, gift or grant pipelines, and gift data mapping
  • An additional brand, with its own sending domain, consent map, and warm-up calendar
  • A phased implementation roadmap for larger migrations
  • Website migration scoping

Using Raiser's Edge NXT or YourMembership? Our RaiserSync and YourMemberSync integrations are available on the HubSpot Marketplace.

Implementation: typically $25,000 to $75,000+

Some projects go beyond onboarding: moving off a legacy donor database, connecting several systems, custom fundraising or payment setups, or governance across multiple teams. We scope these from your Foundation recommendations or a paid discovery. Nothing outside the agreed scope is billed without your approval.

  • How much does HubSpot implementation cost for a nonprofit?

With Yodelpop, onboarding is $14,960 to move your email program and set up your core contact data, and $18,700 when you're also bringing donor or gift data into HubSpot, such as a gift pipeline or a custom object.

Integrations and custom data work are quoted on top, and larger migrations typically run $25,000 to $75,000 or more. HubSpot licenses are separate; eligible nonprofits get 40% off HubSpot's Professional and Enterprise plans.

  • Why work with Yodelpop?
    • We're a HubSpot Platinum Solutions Partner focused on nonprofits and associations.
    • We built and maintain two HubSpot Marketplace integrations, RaiserSync for Raiser's Edge NXT and YourMemberSync for YourMembership, so donor and member data is our everyday work.
    • We put email deliverability first. Consent, opt-outs, and domain warm-up are planned before your first send, not fixed after.
    • Our prices are fixed and every deliverable is named, so you know what you're getting before you sign.
    • We're a woman-owned agency in the Chicago area, founded in 2011, and a HubSpot partner agency since 2013.
  • How long does HubSpot onboarding take?

HubSpot onboarding takes about three to five months, with working sessions throughout. We plan around busy seasons like year-end giving.

  • Can HubSpot connect to Raiser's Edge or Salesforce?

Yes. For Raiser's Edge NXT we use our own integration, RaiserSync. For Salesforce we use HubSpot's connector, with a sync design your Salesforce admin signs off on and testing in a sandbox before anything goes live.

  • Do we need HubSpot Enterprise?

Things like custom objects, campaign revenue attribution, multiple brands and high-volume marketing contacts require Enterprise, so we'll tell you during scoping if your plan needs it.

  • What does our team need to do?

Plan on about one weekly or bi-weekly working session and some setup steps between sessions, such as adding DNS records and sending your emails. We handle the data design, imports, and builds.

  • We already have HubSpot. Do we need Foundation?

Not always. If your portal is set up and one area needs work, we'll start there instead.

  • What happens after onboarding?

Many clients keep working with us on campaigns, reporting, extended capacity, and new parts of HubSpot. We'll talk about whether that makes sense as onboarding wraps up.

  • What isn't included?

Things like HubSpot licenses, writing your email content, website migrations and custom API integrations. We can scope any of these separately.
